Overview

A traffic calming plan for the Sunshine Hills / Cougar Canyon neighbourhood was initiated in 2003 and approved by Council in June 2004 to address public concerns over excessive vehicle speeds and traffic volumes in this area. Post Implementation Review

In keeping with Delta's Traffic Calming policy, staff initiated a post implementation review of the overall traffic calming plan. The review measured the effectiveness of installed traffic calming and traffic control measures, the need to make adjustments to the current installations and additional areas to be considered for traffic calming measures.

The results of this post implementation review were summarized in a staff report, approved by Council at the June 12th, 2006 Regular Meeting. To view this report and its associated attachments, please follow the link to the May 29th, 2006 Council Report located under Reports and Related Documents.
