Ways to Pay Property Taxes and Utilities
- Municipal Hall Taxation Office
4500 Clarence Taylor Crescent. Business hours are Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:45 pm (Thursdays until 8:00 pm). Payment may be made by cheque, post-dated cheque, cash, or bank debit card.
- After Hours Letter Drop Box
Located outside the entrance of the Municipal Hall. The drop box is cleared daily. Payments received after midnight on the due date are subject to penalty.
- North Delta Recreation Centre
11415 84 Avenue. Business hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:45 pm (Thursdays until 8:00 pm). Payment may be made by cheque, post-dated cheque, cash or bank debit card. Please note that an after hours mail slot is NOT available at the North Delta Recreation Centre.
- Mail
Canada Post postmarks dated on or before the due date, will be considered on time. Postdate your cheque and mail early. Please note that mail lost or delayed by the Post Office will be subject to penalties.
- Financial Institutions
Most chartered banks and credit unions within British Columbia accept payments up to and including the due date.

Electronic Banking
Electronic banking services available at most financial institutions within British Columbia up to and including the due date. Electronic banking services include telephone and on-line banking. NOTE: If you pay via Electronic Banking, you must forward your completed single occupancy discount or home owner grant application to the Taxation Office by the due date to avoid penalties.
Please Note:
- When processing your payment via an automated teller machine (ATM), telephone or online banking service, your payment will be subject to penalties if rejected by your financial institution or if you pay after your financial institution's local cut off time on the due date. These payments will be processed the next business day, and therefore would be subject to penalty.
- Please be aware that credit cards are not accepted and that debit card transactions may be subject to daily transaction limits imposed by your financial institution.
- Keep your receipts - proof of payment may be required.
