Heritage Inventories

The Rural Heritage Inventory (1998) and the Urban Heritage Inventory (2000) are comprehensive listings which identify the most significant heritage resources within Delta. They together include upwards of 170 buildings and features which have been evaluated and determined to have significant heritage value. Properties on these lists are flagged so that the review process for any type of application regarding them will include referral to the Heritage Advisory Commission and the discussion of incentives for their preservation and maintenance. The heritage Inventories are also the basis for building the Delta Heritage Register. Copies of the Heritage Inventories may be purchased from the Community Planning and Development department .
