Household hazardous waste includes leftover household products that contain corrosive, toxic, flammable or reactive ingredients including:
- Aerosols and propane cylinders
- Ammunition
- Appliances containing refrigerant (fridges, freezers, etc.)
- Automotive wastes (motor oil, antifreeze etc.)
- Batteries
- Cleaning agents and caustics
- Electronics (TV's, computers, cell phones, etc.)
- Paint and solvents
- Mercury containing products (switches, fluorescent lighting, thermometers etc.)
- Radioactive waste

Disposal Options:
Improper disposal of household hazardous waste can harm collection workers and can pollute the environment. Please do not dispose of such products by pouring them down the drain, on the ground, into storm sewers, or putting them out with the trash.
