Storm Alert: Potential Flooding in Boundary Bay and Beach Grove

The following is the information we can provide so far:

• High tide and strong winds are occurring this morning.
• The high tide peak is expected around 10:00 am.
• The Corporation of Delta Emergency Operations Centre was activated at 6:00 am this morning to respond to this storm event.
• Crews have been dispatched to the area and are on standby.
• Portable Pumps are in place, beach walkways have been lock-blocked and sandbagged and sand berming has been undertaken.
