Remembrance Day in Delta

Remembrance Day will be recognized in both North and South Delta on November 11th.

The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61 is organizing the Ladner ceremony, where a parade will proceed from the Legion at 4896 Delta Street to the Cenotaph at Ladner Memorial Park at 10:30 am. The parade will be followed by a 10:45 am ceremony at the Cenotaph. Following the ceremony, a luncheon will be held at the Legion (attendance limited to adults only). Street parking is available near the Legion and Ladner Memorial Park.

The Kennedy House Seniors Society is hosting the 10:40 am ceremony at the North Delta Social Heart Plaza. Following the ceremony, everyone is welcome to attend a reception at the North Delta Recreation Centre. The North Delta Social Heart Plaza is located at 11415 84th Avenue with parking available at the North Delta Recreation Centre.

Both ceremonies will take place regardless of weather.
