Municipal Clerk Appointment

Mayor Lois E. Jackson, Delta Council and the Chief Administrative Officer are pleased to announce the appointment of Ms. Angila Bains as the Municipal Clerk.

Angila comes to us from the District of North Vancouver where she was the Deputy Municipal Clerk and previously served as Administrative, Information and Privacy Coordinator. She has also been employed with the Ministry of Finance and Office of the Premier as an Information and Privacy Analyst. Angila is a Certified Municipal Clerk and has extensive local government administrative training from Capilano University and the Municipal Administration Training Institute (MATI). It is a combination of Angila's experience and training that makes her a great candidate for this position.

Ms. Bains will commence work at the Corporation of Delta on May 3, 2010.
