Certificate of Appreciation

Certificates of Appreciation are currently issued by the Corporation and signed by the Mayor, to recognize the services and/or contributions made by individuals or groups that have benefited the community.

Certificate of Appreciation recipients in the past include retiring volunteers who have served on Delta's Advisory Committees and the corporate sponsors of the "Getting to Know Delta" educational booklet.

Certificates of Appreciation are presented to the recipients by the Mayor during the Special Presentation section of a Regular Council Meeting or during a special event organized for the recognition (such as the Volunteer Appreciation Dinner).
