Dog Licences
Annual dog licences may be purchased at the following locations in Delta:
- Delta Municipal Hall - Finance Department - 4500 Clarence Taylor Crescent
- North Delta Recreation Centre - 11415 84th Avenue
- Delta Community Animal Shelter - 7450 80th Street
- various Veterinary Hospitals and Pet Stores throughout Delta
Annual dog licences are due by February 28 and are valid for the calendar year.
Dog Licence Fees
- Neutered male dog or spayed female dog: $20
- Unneutered male dog or unspayed female dog: $40
- Dog over the age of ten years: $20
- Dangerous dog: $300
- Replacement of lost or destroyed licence tag: $5.
A late payment fee of $10 applies after the due date of February 28, 2009. Dog owners may be required to provide proof that the dog has been spayed or neutered. Failure to have a dog licence if you are checked by an animal control officer may result in a $150 fine. Please inquire if you have recently moved to Delta, and your dog has a valid licence in another BC municipality.
